History

Global Cosmetics Cluster is the first international clusters network dedicated to the perfume and cosmetics industry. It aims to promote international cooperation, support SMEs, promote sustainability, and encourage innovation in the worldwide cosmetics industry. Since its establishment, GCC has grown to include 18 members from all around the world and has been active in providing various services and resources to its members.

Governance & Committees

Global Cosmetics Cluster is composed of a Governance Board, an Admission Committee, a Communication Committee and geographical working groups. This new working approach aims to strengthen collaboration between members, develop regional strategies, identify opportunities and foster active involvement across the network.

Global Cosmetics Cluster-Europe is The European body of the Global Cosmetics Cluster Worldwide and a European cluster based on a common strategy to boost the internationalization of SMEs in the cosmetic industry. The project was co-funded by the COSME programme of the European Union.

Partnerships

IP SME Helpdesks

Aiming to support IP capacity building along the full scale of IP practices, the Intellectual Property Helpdesk provide free-of-charge, first-line support to European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on IP management, protection and enforcement covering six different regions: China, Europe, India, Latin America, South-East Asia and Africa. The European IP Helpdesk additionally assists SMEs and researchers participating in EU-funded research and innovation projects in dealing with IP issues related to these specific programmes.
