Cosmetics Cluster UK turned 5!

June was a special month for CCUK as the cluster celebrated its 5th anniversary at the University of Bradford on the occasiof of an annual members' networking day! The 4 founders of the Cluster were present: Lisa Buck, Alastair Gardner, Jane Evison & Gill Westgate, with 28 participating organisations, including 17 CCUK members, and around 60 attendees.

Among the various activities, staff from the University of Bradford delivered talks on a range of topics including their teaching in cosmetic science, entrepreneurship, and several business partnership initiatives.

In addition, CCUK also hosted an 'Education Hour'; featuring some of their members, with talks covering work-based learning in cosmetic science; apprenticeships; CPD and work placements; finishing with insights into the skill sets needed for working in a formulation development lab.
