The 12th edition of The Cosmetic Victories, the international competition dedicated to research and innovation in the cosmetics industry, was officially launched during COSMETIC 360. Applications are now open under the theme “Advanced Technologies Shaping the Future of Cosmetics.”
Organised in partnership with COSMETIC VALLEY, the Global Cosmetics Cluster (GCC) and ESSEC, the competition aims to recognise scientific and technological innovations with the potential to transform the cosmetics industry.
Advanced Technologies at the Heart of Innovation
This year's edition focuses on advanced technologies contributing to the evolution of cosmetic research and innovation. These include artificial intelligence, predictive tools, data analysis, digital technologies and immersive technologies.
Through its partnership with The Cosmetic Victories, the GCC contributes to strengthening the international dimension of the competition and promoting innovation across the cosmetics industry's value chain.
Two Awards Recognising Research and Innovation
An international jury will select projects for two awards:
The Academic Award, recognising fundamental research.
The Industrial Award, recognising innovations with market potential.
As a science-driven competition, The Cosmetic Victories places particular emphasis on the scientific foundations of submitted projects, the quality of experimental approaches and the relevance of the methodologies employed. Applications should be supported by results, validation or proof of concept demonstrating the value of the proposed innovation.
Who Can Apply?
The competition is open to researchers, students, start-ups, young graduates and innovators developing projects in any field of application across the cosmetics industry value chain.
Application deadline: 31 January 2027.
Applicants working at the intersection of science, technology and cosmetics are invited to submit their projects and take part in the 2027 edition.
