A Journey Through Time to Shape the Future of the Cosmetics Industry
As part of COSMETIC 360 Week, international partners from the Global Cosmetics Cluster gathered in Chartres for a day celebrating the heritage of the cosmetics industry and looking towards its future.
Discovering the heritage of Chartres
The day began at the COSMETIC VALLEY headquarters in Chartres, where our partners were welcomed by Christophe MASSON, CEO of COSMETIC VALLEY, and Franckie BECHEREAU, Deputy CEO Europe & International.
A guided tour of Chartres offered our international partners an insight into the city's rich heritage, highlighting the role of beauty, craftsmanship and artistic excellence in French culture.
Looking towards the future: the Maison de la Cosmétique
The programme continued with the founding moment of the Maison de la Cosmétique, the future headquarters of the Global Cosmetics Cluster.
Building on the heritage of the past, this ambitious project aims to bring together the cosmetics ecosystem, strengthen connections and create new opportunities for international collaboration.
An evening celebrating international collaboration
At Chartres City Hall, our international partners were officially welcomed by Ladislas Vergne, President of Chartres métropole, and Marc-Antoine Jamet, President of COSMETIC VALLEY.
The day concluded with a cocktail dinner celebrating the GCC's 10th anniversary, bringing together international partners for an evening of celebration and exchange.
From the heritage of Chartres to the future of cosmetics, this journey through time celebrated the connections built over the years and the opportunities that lie ahead for the global cosmetics ecosystem.
