GCC International Tour: Exploring the Cosmetics Ecosystem of Boucle Nord de Seine
As part of COSMETIC 360 Week, international partners from the Global Cosmetics Cluster gathered for a new edition of the GCC International Tour, hosted by L'éc(h)o de Boucle Nord de Seine, a partner territory of COSMETIC VALLEY and a strategic ecosystem for the cosmetics industry.
A gathering of international partners
The day began at Asnières-sur-Seine City Hall, where GCC members gathered for the GCC General Assembly.
At midday, the group was welcomed by Magali Filhue, Vice-President of Boucle Nord de Seine, and Christophe Masson, CEO of COSMETIC VALLEY.
The programme continued with a lunch cruise on the Seine, offering participants an opportunity to exchange perspectives and strengthen connections across the international network.
Discovering a strategic logistics hub
The afternoon continued with a visit to the Port of Gennevilliers, a key logistics hub for the Paris region.
Part of HAROPA PORT, the Port of Gennevilliers is the largest inland port in the Île-de-France region and a major multimodal logistics platform. Its strategic location and transport connections make it an important link in regional and international supply chains, including those serving the cosmetics industry.
The visit was led by Romane Maréchaux, Director of the Port of Gennevilliers. The GCC extends its warm thanks to her for her welcome and for the quality of the exchanges.
Celebrating 10 years of international connections
The GCC International Tour provided a valuable opportunity to bring together members of the network, exchange perspectives and explore opportunities for collaboration between international cosmetics ecosystems.
As the GCC celebrates its 10th anniversary, this edition highlights a decade of international collaboration, connecting cosmetics clusters and fostering partnerships across markets.
The GCC would like to thank the Région Île-de-France, Choose Paris Region and L'éc(h)o de Boucle Nord de Seine for their support, as well as the City of Asnières-sur-Seine and the Port of Gennevilliers for welcoming its international partners.
